PEROLA D.MAR GILT-HEAD BREAM 300/500 1x6Kg
Description
The Gilt-head Bream
Its name is inspired by the golden spot between its eyes. It feeds on bivalves (clams, mussels), crabs, but also worms and algae. Very active in its daily life, it has dense, firm flesh and a high concentration of flavor, resulting from its diverse diet. When caught in the Ria Formosa and the Ria de Alvor, or in places where food is abundant, it provides a true feast of the gods. The gilt-head bream is delicious grilled, baked in salt, and in the oven, but if you dare to make it into sashimi or ceviche, you won't regret it!
